Four Fabulous Finds from Pier 1

I have recently noticed some catchy commercials about the unique products at Pier 1, and decided to go take a look for myself. Pier 1 had a great mix of fun items to enhance a party; unique items that are conversation starters in the home; and traditional items, such as faux fruit, to make your room inviting.

Here are some of the items that captured my interest:

Apple Assortment: I was extremely impressed with the faux fruit at Pier 1! These were actually recommended to me by a sales associate at a separate high-end home store, who told me she had purchased some for her home because of how real they looked. For $10, you can get a bag of your selection: apples, lemons, etc. The only downside was that they did not have a “mixed bag” of fruit, but at the end of the day the red apples added a nice touch to my kitchen.

Arm Chair: I also purchased a baby blue armchair with some muted brown flowers that matched the tone of my living room. I thought this was reasonably priced at $250. Separate from the fact that it happened to fit well with my room, I thought the furniture was appropriate for my life stage: simplistic yet refined, and at a reasonable price point.

Kitchenware: Finally, I purchased a range of martini glasses that I thought would be a nice addition to a party. At just $7 each, I felt they were an inexpensive way to make a party more festive. I noticed that there was a wide variety of festive glasses and dishware. A separate set I was partial to was a sunflower plate set. I would love to get this for a summer party outdoors, but decided to wait until summer season. At least I know Pier 1 has lots of options for me to choose from throughout the year!
